The first Volano came into existence over a century ago, in 1898, thanks to Wilhelmus Adrianus Van Berkel, whose talent transformed the laborious manual process of meat cutting into a new product for even, rapid and efficient slicing. This invention paved the way for a journey that continues to this day.
