The harmony of colors, inspired by vegetation not only evokes the beauty of nature but also recalls the historical and vintage tones of our slicers. A perfect blend of tradition and connection to the environment.
Along with the flywheel, an exclusive saber is also provided in limited edition, with a laser-etched blade featuring elegant floral motifs and a green handle that mirrors the design and colors of the slicer, further consolidating the aesthetic and thematic link with the concept of the special edition.
On the external magnetic disc, the image of the Goddess Abundantia stands out, evoking her grace and connection with the cycle of life and prosperity through her cornucopia.
The decoration enveloping the structure features elegant motifs composed of flowers, fruits, and vegetables, transforming the Volano flywheel Abundantia into a true masterpiece.

THE VISION OF ML ENGRAVING
At the heart of the Orobie Pre-Alps, ML Engraving stands as a company specializing in surface enhancement through artistic laser engraving.
In collaboration with Berkel, they have transformed the Volano Flywheel Abundantia into a masterpiece of functional art, deeply drawing from the Art Nouveau style and the works of Alphonse Mucha. This limited edition represents a celebration of femininity and nature, two recurring themes in Mucha’s art, where the woman was not just a muse but a powerful symbol of beauty and natural strength.
The sinuous lines and floral details characterizing the Volano Flywheel Abundantia are directly inspired by Mucha’s works, with a particular homage to his famous posters featuring women enveloped in elaborate floral compositions.
ML Engraving chose to emphasize the visual and thematic connection with abundance with elements such as the cornucopia, floral and natural details including gerberas, hypericum, roses, poppies, and wild buttercups.
This design choice not only honors the element of prosperity associated with the goddess Abundantia but also creates a visual dialogue between the machine and the user, evoking a sense of richness both material and aesthetic.
